About the speaker

With a career in cyber security spanning over 35 years, Jean has extensive experience in the high tech, telecom, and financial industries alternating between deep technical and executive leadership roles. She has been a software and hardware developer, one of the first chief architects in Silicon Valley, a CISO several times over and is now an executive consultant and business advisor. She been recognized as an ISSA Distinguished Fellow (2014) and a Woman of Influence by SC Magazine (2015). Jean is a co-founder of the Bace Cybersecurity Institute and is currently on the board of the ISC2 Seattle chapter.
